Music, theatre and more at The Mill this June!

We can’t wait to welcome audiences back to The Mill for live performances this June. Whether you’re into music, theatre, tributes to iconic bands or family-friendly storytelling, there’s something for everyone.

June kicks off with Legends of Swing with the Down for the Count Swing Orchestra (4th June)! This mini big band promises an electrifying show full of incredible energy and musicianship. Described as “one hellova celebration of vintage music” (TimeOut London)”, they are now regularly found at jazz clubs in the UK and abroad (Ronnie Scott’s London, Le Caveau de la Huchette Paris), at festivals including the London Jazz Festival, and on BBC Radio.

Do you ever want to run away from it all? These Hills Are Ours (18th June) tells the story of Dan and Boff, who did exactly that: they ran a series of routes from the centre of the city in which they found themselves, to the top of the peak overlooking that city. But what are we really running from? In story and in song, These Hills Are Ours is the story of what they found out on those journeys.

For Queen fans, don’t miss The Bohemians (25th June)! This internationally renowned Queen tribute band will take you on a high-energy rollercoaster ride of a concert, featuring the back catalogue of one of the world’s most popular and iconic rock acts of all time. Singing, dancing and clapping along – you’ll be on your feet for this truly memorable live re-enactment of the world’s greatest rock band.

Family audiences will love Concertini presents Peter and the Wolf (26th June). A ‘Concertini’ is a bite-size, live music experience aimed at families with children age 0-8. Join us for this relaxed and enjoyable re-telling of the classic fairytale.
