“Expect children to be very delighted!” The New York Times

If you’re planning a staycation at home this summer, there’s so much to see and do at your local arts venue. Keep creative with short courses in Painting & Drawing (4 weeks from 2nd August), Mixed Media Textiles Book (4 weeks from 5th August), Expressive Landscapes in Watercolour: Cotswold Views (7th August) or Still Life in Watercolour: Modern Botanicals (21st August).

Toyah: Electronica/Acoustica (2nd September) is a unique chance to experience the iconic musician up close and personal, as she performs her loved hit singles and classic songs, alongside recalling stories from her colourful, forty-year career.

In a fantastically wild(e) new production of The Importance of Being Earnest (1st September), the entirety of Oscar Wilde’s classic play of manners, affairs and handbags will be performed by just two rather dashing entertainers.

Stand-up star of Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and more, Simon Evans: The Work of the Devil (3rd September) is “a gripping and, ultimately heart-warming tale… rich with Evans’ wit and caustic observation.” (★★★★ The Scotsman).
