Tale as old as time…

Prepare to be delighted this October as we welcome Ballet Theatre UK to The Mill with one of the most enchanting love stories of all time: Beauty and the Beast (26th October)!

Inspired by the original tale, this production tells the story of Belle, an intelligent young woman who feels out of place in her provincial French village. When her father is imprisoned in a mysterious castle, Belle’s attempt to rescue him leads to her capture by the Beast, a grisly and fearsome monster. Set to a stunning classical score this production will showcase new choreography by Artistic Director, Christopher Moore, as well as feature new sets and costumes created especially for this production.

We are also pleased to present top-quality original theatre on our stage as award-winning A&E Comedy return with Witch Hunt (21st October) – a spellbinding, surreal and darkly hilarious tale, directed by Cal McCrystal. Not to mention “master storyteller” James Rowland, who brings us his brand-new, 5-star Edinburgh Fringe show Learning to Fly (11th November). Uplifting, big hearted and hilarious, this show is James’ first since his acclaimed Songs of Friendship trilogy and features a captivating mix of theatre, comedy and music.

There’s plenty of music in store this Autumn too. Join us for The Animals & Friends (18th November), featuring original Animals member John Steel, as they deliver a fantastic concert of pure classics including House Of The Rising Sun, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, and more. Country music fans will be thrilled to see Made in Tennessee (19th November), a brand-new show that takes you through decades of America’s finest country music.

Or, if you fancy something a little different, there’s still time to check out comedy cabaret Betti & Bruce: Trapped in the UK! (13th October). A camp-tastic musical duo from New York City currently touring the world, don’t miss these two “never-heard-of, but hard-to-forget” septuagenarian songbirds as they take the UK by storm.
