Plus: Arnie Tries to Guess His Most-Streamed Classics on JustWatch
JustWatch is excited to spotlight the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro in Netflix’s explosive action-comedy FUBAR, back for a second season as of June 12.
The series stars Schwarzenegger and Barbaro as Luke and Emma Brunner — a father-daughter CIA duo who only discovered each other’s secret spy lives after years of pretending to be a normal family. Season one turned awkward family dinners into covert missions and near-death escapes; season two doubles down on the chaos, adding new faces like The Matrix legend Carrie-Anne Moss.
So, why should you tune in? Schwarzenegger sums it up best:
“If you want the greatest entertainment — action, romance, drama, and comedy all in one — you HAVE to watch FUBAR.”
In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the action icon recounted his admiration for FUBAR’s first season and expressed his gratitude to the streaming juggernaut for granting a follow up to Luke and Emma’s escapades. “The first season was so interesting and so popular and was No. 1 for endless amount of time. I think that’s why Netflix committed to do a second season. I cannot take any credit for anything that you see other than when you see me acting. But not the writing and the story.”
Barbaro agrees with her onscreen dad:
“FUBAR is the kind of fun ‘90s action-comedy we’ve been missing. If you love True Lies, you’ll love this. Plus, I got to play multiple personas — it’s an actor’s dream and so much fun to watch.”
From Mr. Universe to unstoppable box office legend, Schwarzenegger is the muscle behind classics like The Terminator, Predator, Total Recall, and True Lies — plus a two-term stint as California’s Governor before returning to Hollywood in The Expendables and Maggie.

Barbaro, meanwhile, is one of today’s rising stars in the film industry. She broke out in UnREAL and the Chicago TV franchise, then soared in Top Gun: Maverick. In 2024, she landed an Oscar nomination for playing Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown — and won a Breakthrough Award at the Astras.
During their chat with JustWatch, Arnie also guessed his top three most-streamed movies on the platform.
“I would say, True Lies, The Terminator and Kindergarten Cop”, he casually estimated. But he was only right on one of those as the real stats are:
- The Terminator (1984):
Schwarzenegger plays the titular cyborg assassin sent back in time by tyrannical supercomputers from a post-apocalyptic future to kill Sarah Connor, whose unborn son is destined to lead insurgents against the mechanical hegemony. Meanwhile, the human-resistance movement dispatches a lone warrior to safeguard Sarah. Can he stop the virtually indestructible killing machine?
Available on Apple TV and Amazon Video
- Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991):
Set ten years after the events of the original, James Cameron’s classic sci-fi action flick tells the story of a second attempt to get rid of rebellion leader John Connor, this time targeting the boy himself. However, the rebellion has sent a reprogrammed terminator (once again played by Schwarzenegger) to protect Connor.
Available on Max Amazon Channel and Amazon Video
- Predator (1987):
A team of elite commandos on a secret mission in a Central American jungle come to find themselves hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior.
