Wicked For Good

As excitement builds for the release of Wicked: For Good this weekend, UK audiences are flocking back to the original Wicked (2024), pushing it to the No. 2 spot on JustWatch’s latest UK streaming rankings.

The new weekly Top 10 list from JustWatch, based on real user activity including clicks, watchlist adds, and streaming offer engagement, shows Wicked rising sharply since early November as fans revisit the first instalment ahead of the sequel’s debut.

Frankenstein (2025) continues to dominate the chart at No. 1 with awards chatter and strong critical praise driving its viewership, but Wicked’s upward momentum is one of the week’s standout stories.

Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo on Finishing Their Wicked Journey

At the New York premiere of Wicked: For Good on Nov. 17, stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo spoke about what it means to conclude the epic two-part adaptation.

The costars, who portray Glinda and Elphaba, appeared together on the carpet, with Grande describing an immense sense of “overwhelming gratitude” for having completed the story. “It’s been such an incredible ride and an incredible experience to create with people we love so much and respect so much creatively, but also who just have such great hearts,” Ariana exclusively told E! News’ Justin Sylvester, adding that she’s also excited for fans to “finally be able to get the full story” and the “full arc of these women that we love so much and have spent these years with.”

“It’s been close to five years that we’ve carried them,” she said. “Seeing fans finally get the entire picture, including the secrets we’ve known all this time, feels incredibly rewarding.”

Erivo, currently on vocal rest, chose not to speak during the interview but joined Grande in celebrating an additional milestone: a 2026 Grammy nomination for their duet of “Defying Gravity.”

“It’s unbelievable,” Grande said. “Having it recognised, especially a year after the first film, is such an honour, and being acknowledged together makes it even more meaningful.”
