On the 11th of May, 2024, the Mill Arts Centre in Banbury will host an extraordinary evening with Dr. Patti Boulaye OBE, showcasing her one-woman show, “Diana & Me.” This performance is a unique blend of music and storytelling, where the fabulous hits of Diana Ross are interwoven with Boulaye’s personal anecdotes, drawing parallels and contrasts between their lives and careers.

A Night of Musical Excellence

Patti Boulaye, the doyenne of entertainment, has been described as “A bundle of fizz” and is set to dazzle audiences once again. “Diana & Me” is a heartfelt homage to the legendary Diana Ross, featuring some of her greatest hits such as “I’m Coming Out”, “Stop! In the Name of Love”, and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, to name just a few. Also included are music from Bizet, Puccini, Etta James, Bessie Smith and some of Patti’s own successes.

Patti brings these songs to life, not only with her powerful voice but with a personal touch, sharing stories and experiences that connect her life with Diana in a way that is both humorous and moving.

More Than Just a Show

Patti Boulaye’s accomplishments extend far beyond her musical talents. As a Visiting Teaching Fellow at Middlesex University, she imparts life skills to graduate students, drawing on her extensive experience in the entertainment industry and her work with charities. Boulaye’s dedication to charity work in West Africa and the UK has earned her an OBE, and her life story is captured in an autobiography published by Kaleidoscope Publishing. Additionally, her contributions to education and entertainment have been recognised with an Honorary Doctorate.
