This autumn at The Mill Arts Centre, a vibrant lineup of comedy, live music, and theatre awaits – including two return performances from megastar comedian Omid Djalili (15th–16th October)!

Known for his sharp wit and irreverent humour, Omid brings us his brand-new show, Namaste. Omid’s return to Banbury is a rare chance to see one of the comedy greats in an intimate setting. With his unique take on global and political issues, Omid Djalili’s performance is bound to leave you in stitches.

If interactive comedy is more your style, don’t miss CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation (13th October), where the audience plays detective in a completely improvised murder mystery. It’s a night of spontaneous laughs and unexpected twists, fresh from its success at the Edinburgh Fringe. Plus, we have rising star David Eagle (23rd October), bringing us his stand-up, featuring sharp humour, musical talent, and a unique and hilarious perspective on life, love, and living with blindness.

Music lovers also have plenty in store this month. From lively Irish music with One Night in Dublin (11th October), featuring the award-winning Wild Murphys and traditional Irish dancers, to a night of Rod Stewart’s greatest hits with leading tribute artist Pete McCall in The Rod Stewart Songbook (18th October). Meanwhile, Beatles fans won’t want to miss The Pretend Beatles (12th October), an act that captures the energy and charm of the original Fab Four – a must-see for anyone longing for a trip down Penny Lane.

There’s plenty of theatre coming up too. Fans of British comedy history won’t want to miss a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of television with Hancock’s Half Hour – The Lost TV Episodes (17th October) and Dad’s Army Radio Show (24th October). Or, for a more literary evening, join us for Austen’s Women: LADY SUSAN (10th October). This witty and engaging one-woman show brings to life Jane Austen’s first full-length novel. It’s a fresh and funny take on a classic, sure to delight Austen fans and newcomers alike.

★★★★★ “A towering performance” (The Scotsman)

★★★★★ “A luscious sweeping tale” (The i)

★★★★★ “Quite simply: astounding” (Broadway Baby)

And for something a little different, delve into the gritty reality of 1960s London with Ronnie, Reggie & Me (8th October) – an intimate exploration of Britain’s most notorious gangsters, as recounted by their trusted biographer, Fred Dinenage.

With such a diverse range of events, The Mill Arts Centre is the place to be this October. Be sure to book your tickets early and prepare for a month full of laughter, music, and memorable experiences.
