We’re thrilled to be welcoming an unmissable Comedy Special Evening (24th September) to The Mill Arts Centre – a night full of laughs, legends, and rising stars! Headlining the show is stand-up royalty Ed Byrne, known and loved from shows like QI, Mock the Week and The Pilgrimage. He’ll be joined by the brilliantly funny Duncan Adam, hailed as a Rising Star of Scottish Stand-Up, and the hilarious Tadiwa Mahlunge – one of Rolling Stone’s top New Comedians to Watch.
Comedy fans are also in for a treat as the fantastic Justin Moorhouse (11th September) returns to our stage with The Greatest Performance of My Life – funny, interesting, and warming for the soul. And for those who love their comedy with a dose of improvisation, don’t miss Stephen K Amos as he joins us for freestyling musings and merrymaking to get your belly aching!
For music lovers, Marquee Square Heroes (31st August)present an incredible tribute to Marillion, performing all the tracks from their chart-topping album Misplaced Childhood. This show recreates the era that made Marillion one of the greatest bands in the world.
Dance the night away and singalong to your favourite classics with Lionel: The Music of Lionel Richie (5th September) – a five-star experience featuring world-class musicians performing all the hits you know and love. Or why not step into the hallowed halls of progressive rock history with Los Endos – The Ultimate Genesis: Our Next Trick (13th September)?
Film fans won’t want to miss The Ultimate Commitments and Blues Brothers Experience (6th September) – a double-bill of high-energy soul and R&B, featuring a stellar cast of musicians and audio-visual effects. A true crowd-pleaser with all the hits from two incredible cult classics!
In the mood for something a little more theatrical, An Evening Without Kate Bush (19th September) is sure to delight. Back by popular demand, this critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe sell-out has been described as “spellbinding” by The Daily Telegraph. Packed with iconic hits, it’s a joyful, offbeat celebration that invites you to unleash your inner Bush!
And finally, we’re delighted to welcome back Brother Wolf with Fagin’s Last Hour (17th September). Told from the point of view of Fagin, this powerful multi award-winning stage adaptation offers a fresh insight into literature’s most controversial villain and has been recognised by Queen Elizabeth II for its part in Dickensian scholarship. One not to be missed by our theatre fans!
