In a world that often moves too fast, where isolation and inactivity can quietly take root, Platinum Healthcare Service is stepping forward with heart, purpose, and action. Every Friday, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Crawford Hall will come alive with movement, laughter, and connection as Platinum Healthcare Service hosts a free chair exercise session—open to all, and designed to uplift both body and spirit.

But this isn’t just about fitness. It’s about community care, about showing up for one another, and about supporting two incredible local causes: Bidford Dementia Club and The Warm Hub. Every donation received during this event will go directly to these vital initiatives, helping to ensure that no one in our community feels forgotten, cold, or alone.

🌟 Why Chair Exercises Matter

Chair exercises are more than just gentle movements—they’re a gateway to better health, improved mobility, and renewed confidence. Especially for older adults, those with limited mobility, or anyone recovering from illness or injury, chair-based workouts offer a safe, inclusive way to stay active.

  • 🪑 Accessible for all: Whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or just starting your wellness journey, chair exercises meet you where you are.
  • 💪 Boosts strength and flexibility: Regular movement helps maintain muscle tone, joint health, and balance. Can also reduce the risk of falls.
  • 🧠 Supports mental wellbeing: Exercise releases endorphins, reduces stress, and fosters a sense of achievement.
  • 🤝 Builds social connection: Group sessions create opportunities to meet others, share stories, and feel part of something bigger.

Platinum Healthcare Service understands that wellness isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, social, and deeply personal. That’s why this session is designed to be welcoming, uplifting, and fun. Expect music, smiles, and a few surprises along the way!

🏡 Care in the Community: Platinum’s Mission

At the heart of Platinum Healthcare Service is a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves compassionate, dignified care—right where they live. From supporting older adults to empowering those with long-term conditions, Platinum is redefining what community care looks like.

Their approach is rooted in:

  • 💬 Listening first: Understanding each person’s story, needs, and preferences.
  • 🧡 Empathy in action: Delivering care that’s not just professional, but deeply human.
  • 🔄 Continuity and trust: Building lasting relationships between carers and clients.
  • 🌱 Promoting independence: Helping individuals live life on their own terms, with support tailored to their goals.

Whether it’s through home visits, wellness checks, or community events like this Friday’s chair exercise session, Platinum is committed to making care visible, accessible, and joyful.

🎗 Supporting Bidford Dementia Club & The Warm Hub

This event isn’t just about movement—it’s about meaning. All donations collected will go to two local lifelines:

🧠 Bidford Dementia Club

Dementia can be isolating, confusing, and overwhelming—not just for those living with it, but for their families too. Bidford Dementia Club offers a safe, nurturing space where members can engage in activities, enjoy companionship, and receive support from trained volunteers.

  • 🎨 Creative sessions: Art, music, and memory games that stimulate and soothe.
  • ☕ Social gatherings: Tea, chats, and laughter that combat loneliness.
  • 👥 Family support: Guidance and empathy for carers navigating the dementia journey.

Every pound donated helps keep this vital service running, ensuring that no one faces dementia alone.

🔥 The Warm Hub

As energy costs rise and winter approaches, The Warm Hub offers a beacon of hope. It’s a place where people can come to stay warm, enjoy a hot drink, and connect with others. For many, it’s a lifeline—especially those on fixed incomes or facing housing insecurity.

  • 🍲 Free refreshments: Soup, tea, and snacks served with kindness.
  • 📚 Activities and advice: From knitting circles to financial guidance.
  • 🧤 Warmth and welcome: A space where everyone is treated with dignity.

Your donations help keep the lights on, the kettle boiling, and the doors open to those who need it most.
