A Proper Farm Shop. Rooted Locally. Open to Everyone.

Wykham Park Farm Shop

At Wykham Park, food is not treated as a commodity. It is something grown, raised, prepared and chosen with care. Set within a working farm just outside Banbury, the farm shop reflects a simple but powerful belief: exceptional food begins with provenance, respect for the land, and pride in how things are done.

This is not a farm shop built for special occasions alone. While Wykham Park has earned a reputation for premium quality, it remains firmly open to everyone. Whether you are planning a celebratory meal, feeding a busy household, or simply looking for better everyday food, the doors are open and the standards never drop.

From Our Fields to Your Table

Seasonality shapes everything at Wykham Park. A significant proportion of the fruit and vegetables sold in the shop are grown right on the surrounding farmland, harvested at their best and brought directly from field to shelf. What is not grown on site is sourced as locally as possible, with freshness, flavour and sustainability always guiding the decision.

One of the standout crops is Wykham Park’s home-grown asparagus. From early spring, it becomes a firm favourite with customers and chefs alike. Its reputation has travelled well beyond Oxfordshire, having been supplied to leading restaurants and retailers, including Fortnum and Mason. It is a clear example of what can be achieved when soil, timing and care all come together.

Traditional Butchery, Done Properly

The butchery counter sits at the heart of the shop and showcases British beef and lamb reared on the farm itself. High welfare standards, careful husbandry and traditional skills define every cut. This is meat you can trust, with full traceability and flavour that reflects how it has been raised.

The butchers are always available to offer advice, whether you are choosing a reliable midweek option or something more special for the weekend. Cooking tips, portion guidance and an understanding of how each cut performs are all part of the service.

A Cheese Counter Worth Lingering Over

The delicatessen and cheese counter is a destination in its own right. Here, British and European cheeses sit side by side, ranging from familiar favourites to beautifully made artisan examples produced in small batches. It is a place to browse, ask questions and discover something new.

Perfect for entertaining, gifting or simply elevating a simple meal, the selection reflects the same thoughtful approach found throughout the shop.

Groceries with Integrity

Beyond fresh produce, meat and cheese, Wykham Park offers a carefully curated grocery range. Alongside everyday essentials, customers will find premium brands, niche artisan producers and specialist local suppliers. Every product earns its place on the shelves, chosen for quality, taste and the story behind it.

The drinks selection is equally considered, with a range of beers, wines and spirits suited to everything from relaxed evenings at home to special celebrations.

At its core, Wykham Park is about doing things properly. Rooted in farming, guided by experience and open to everyone, it remains a place where good food, honest standards and a strong connection to the land come together naturally.
