On Monday 9th March Solomon, my “man on the ground”, having received the first tranche of money towards the building of the first of two additional classrooms at the school, began the purchasing of materials for the project. All the blocks were made on site, manually hand batched, and whilst the blocks were left to dry for a few days, the trenches were dug for the foundations and the concrete foundations were laid.

The photo above was taken at lunchtime on Thursday 19th – not bad progress in just 10 days!
We have adequate funds to complete the first classroom and the second classroom is about 65% funded so far
and I hope that we may be able to complete both classrooms before the start of the “rainy season” in May. EVERY £ goes directly to the project – if YOU can help “Make A Real Difference” it would be greatly appreciated.
