Dacia has built its reputation on producing practical, dependable cars that offer genuine value. Now the brand is preparing to enter a new chapter with the Dacia Striker, a distinctive hybrid model designed for drivers who want everyday versatility without blending into the crowd.
With orders expected to open at the beginning of 2027, the Striker brings together the robust character associated with Dacia and a sleeker, more aerodynamic design. Its long silhouette, flowing roofline, upright front end and high ground clearance create a confident appearance that should feel equally at home on Banbury’s streets, winding country roads or a family trip further afield.
The Striker is not simply about making a strong first impression. Inside, it has been designed around the practical needs of modern drivers and families. Five full-size seats provide space for passengers, while independently folding rear seats make it easier to adapt the cabin when carrying larger items.
A three-part reversible modular boot floor offers further flexibility, helping owners organise their luggage and keep certain items stored discreetly. Depending on the version selected, an electrically operated hands-free tailgate will also be available, making loading easier when your hands are full.
Natural light will fill the cabin through a large fixed panoramic roof, measuring approximately 1.2 by 0.8 metres and designed to block 99% of ultraviolet rays. The result should be a brighter, more open-feeling interior without compromising protection from the sun.

Two self-charging hybrid powertrains are planned. The Hybrid 155 is intended to deliver efficient and enjoyable everyday driving, particularly around towns and cities, without requiring the vehicle to be plugged in. The Hybrid 150 combines electric assistance with genuine off-road capability, strong torque and useful towing performance for drivers whose journeys take them beyond conventional roads.
A comprehensive selection of driver-assistance technology is also expected. Features will include a multiview camera, adaptive cruise control, an occupant safe-exit alert and rear automatic emergency braking, although final availability may vary between specifications.
