For most of us, our pets are not “just animals”. They are part of the family. They greet us at the door, sit beside us when we are having a difficult day and somehow know when we need them most.
So when they are frightened, in pain or unwell, choosing who to trust with their care really matters.
That is exactly why Ferriston Vets was created.
Based on Ferriston Road in Banbury, Ferriston Vets is a local, independently owned veterinary practice, founded by veterinary surgeons Corina Prisada and Ioan Prisada with a simple belief: veterinary care should be personal, compassionate and centred around each individual pet and their family.
At Ferriston Vets, you are not simply a number on a computer screen. We want to know our patients, understand their history and build a long-term relationship with the people who love them.
Being independent also means that decisions about your pet’s treatment are made by the veterinary team caring for them, right here in Banbury.
We can take the time to explain what is happening, discuss the available options and help owners make informed decisions about their pet’s care.
Our modern practice provides preventative healthcare, consultations, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and ongoing medical treatment for companion animals.
But perhaps one of the things we are most proud of is being there when our clients need us most.
Ferriston Vets provides its own 24-hour emergency care for registered clients. When something goes wrong in the middle of the night, at the weekend or on a bank holiday, the reassurance of knowing your own veterinary practice is there can mean everything.
We are still a young practice, but our ambition is simple: to become the veterinary practice Banbury families can trust for many years to come.
Because pets give us their unconditional love.
They deserve a veterinary practice that cares just as much.
