person-centred care in Banbury

At our wonderful home you can live life your way in luxury, surrounded by expert care and enjoy our beautifully refurbished and brand new living spaces.

Refurbished Elegance

Highmarket House is undergoing an over £700,000 renovation transforming our suites and shared spaces, with a beautifully refurbished café, dining rooms, hair salon and elegant lounges.

Relax in beautiful surroundings

Residents will be able to enjoy our bright new spaces with their loved one’s friends and daily activities. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee with a loved one or enjoying a cake and a catch up in our beautiful lounges.

Meaningful lifestyles

Daily activities at Highmarket House are crucial to ensuring all residents live a fulfilling life. Our lifestyle team will get to know everything we can about your loved one so we can make every aspect of their time with us enjoyable and fulfilling.

We’ll learn about their family and friends, previous jobs, hobbies, routines, favourite foods, and even seemingly small details, like the sort of bread they like or their favourite perfume or cologne. When we know the smallest things, we can make the biggest difference.

Refresh to our communities

Each of our suites are going to undergo a face lift, with the lounges and dining rooms being totally refurbished to ensure we’re providing our residents with beautiful surroundings for their everyday activities.

Our dementia floor will be redesigned to help residents with all stages of dementia to continue to lead fulfilling lives and ensure their dining experience remains consistent.

A tailored dining experience

At Highmarket House meals are occasions to be enjoyed. Our experienced, chef-led kitchen team takes a person-centred approach to dining, preparing tasty and nutritious dishes tailored to residents’ needs and wishes. We understand how much residents value mealtimes, and we work to ensure it is a highlight of their day, every single day.

Dining with dignity

Choice and accessibility are at the heart of every dining experience. Our chef will take time to meet with you to find out about favourite meals and cultural or dietary needs, including modified diets for those who have difficulty swallowing.

We also support residents living with dementia, impaired vision or dexterity difficulties to enjoy an independent dining experience using bespoke crockery, adapted cutlery and high-contrast table linen.

Tasty, nutritious meals

All our seasonally adjusted menus are carefully curated with residents’ input, and every meal is home-cooked and freshly prepared each day. Our person-centred approach to dining also means that our chef will do their very best to cook favourite meals that are not currently on the menu.

Highmarket House care home in Banbury, is part of Care UK, the country’s most awarded large care provider. We’ve been delivering high-quality, person-centred care for over 40 years. That’s why over 15,000 families trust us to care for their older loved ones.
