Time to Relax and Enjoy Your Garden

Hi garden lovers! July is here, bringing sunny days and lush growth. It’s the perfect time to kick back, soak up the sunshine, and revel in your garden’s splendour. Whether you’re lounging by the pond or enjoying the vibrant blooms, there’s plenty to do and admire in your garden this month. Let’s dive into some fun and easy garden tasks to keep everything looking fabulous.

Flower Gardens: Keep those blooms coming by deadheading regularly. Weed and hoe the beds, and fill any gaps with new beauties from Farnborough Garden Centre.

Water Gardens: Your pond is likely buzzing with life now. Keep an eye on water levels and maybe add a few new plants. A quick spray with the hose can boost oxygen for your fishy friends.

Hedges: Time to trim those conifers and shape up your beech, hornbeam, and holly hedges for a neat look.

Pots and Containers: Water daily during hot spells and keep deadheading for non-stop blooms. Need more plants? Farnborough Garden Centre has you covered with gorgeous ready-planted options.

Lawns: Mow and trim regularly but raise the blade in dry spells. Let clippings mulch the lawn and water only when necessary.

Roses: Snip off old blooms carefully, cutting back to a lower bud. Feed them well and keep an eye out for pests.

Vegetables: Keep your veggies hydrated to prevent bolting. Harvest often for the tastiest results.

Looking Good Now: Check out Japanese Acers, Roses, Clematis, Photinias, Fuchsias, Pelargoniums, Begonias, Geraniums, Hanging Baskets, and Planted Containers in their full glory.

Don’t miss out on a visit to Farnborough Garden Centre this month. We’ve got an amazing range of pots, stoneware, bird baths, and garden ornaments to spruce up your space. While you’re here, explore the gift shop and treat yourself to something special. Maybe enjoy a refreshing drink or a farmhouse ice cream in the café. Enjoy every moment in your garden this July.
