Weddings at Hook Norton Brewery Feature

Did you know, we do weddings?

Hook Norton Brewery is located in the picturesque village of Hook Norton in Oxfordshire and is proving to be a popular venue for weddings. Couples can host their ceremony in a variety of different licenced spaces including the historic Victorian Tower Brewery itself right in front of the 125-year-old original steam engine that can power the machinery used to brew the famous hooky beer. The Brewery Boardroom is perfect for smaller wedding celebrations and The Steep, the largest space, can accommodate up to 100 guests. The rustic charm, exposed brickwork and original features provide a distinctive atmosphere for a wedding to remember.

The brewery’s Malthouse is often used for wedding receptions and can be adapted to create a beautiful setting. It’s a great space for couples looking for a quirky, industrial feel. With there being no set packages, we can tailor everything to each couple in order to create bespoke plans for the big day. We can accommodate both small, intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations, with a variety of options for catering, décor, and entertainment.

Here at the brewery, we pride ourselves in quality home cooked food and can provide a number of different catering options from three course meals, buffets, canapes or even a more casual barbecue or hog roast depending on the style of your wedding.

Looking for that little bit extra? We can provide a range of unique extras to make your special day one to remember. These include:

Brewery Tours: To keep your guests occupied while couples have their photos taken, we can whisk them away for a guided tour of the brewery where they will experience the sights, sounds and smells of brewing beer the Hooky way.

Brew your own Beer: A wedding without beer is not really what we do here at Hooky so if you want to brew your own special wedding ale to serve on the day or bottled and given as gifts we can help you.

Shire Horses: Our iconic Shire Horses can be at your disposal as a wedding car or as a unique backdrop for your wedding photos.

While the Brewery itself doesn’t have on-site accommodation, there are three pubs in the village as well as hotels and B&Bs within a short distance, allowing guests to stay close by.

With its historic charm and tranquil setting, Hook Norton Brewery offers a relaxed yet memorable setting for any wedding. If this is what you are looking for, our experienced wedding coordinators would love to hear from you. We will help with every detail, from planning to execution, ensuring the day is a huge success.
