Banbury Town Council’s next major event – Banbury Show – is fast approaching. On Saturday 14th June from 10:00 – 17:00, Spiceball Park will be transformed into a bustling hub of fun and entertainment, with rides, attractions and food across the entire site.
This year’s Banbury Show is set to be one of the biggest yet, with the event doubling as a celebration of Banbury Town Council’s 25th anniversary. As one of the most popular and diverse events on the council’s calendar, Banbury Show is the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything the town has to offer, from talent and traders to businesses and hobbyists.
Banbury Show’s 2025 highlights include a falconry stand and performance, where visitors can see a variety of birds of prey up close and see them in action. Owls and eagles will be gracing the skies over Spiceball Park, demonstrating their skill, precision and speed as they dive, swoop, and soar on command.
Another standout performance will come from a talented strongman with a very unique talent. John Evans became famous for balancing a Mini Cooper on his head, and has since continued to grow an incredible collection of World Records, reaching a staggering 100 individual records in 2022. Now he’s coming to Banbury to demonstrate his truly unique skill, which has seen him accomplish a number of incredible feats, raising money for charity and travelling across the world.
A live music stage featuring local talent will once again feature at this event, with Banbury Town Council working with Banbury Music Mix Radio to give acts from the town and surrounding area the chance to perform live and give a spotlight both to them and Banbury’s bustling music scene.
Returning favourite attractions include balloon modelling, face-painting, and fairground rides, giving families an opportunity to have a truly memorable day out. As well as this, there will be plenty of food and drink stalls, with everything from ice cream vans to burger stalls to cocktail bars.
