KathaArine House Hospice Take a Challenge in 2024

Have you made a New Year’s resolution this year? Why not take inspiration from one of Katharine House’s many activities that will not only give you something to aim for but also help hundreds of people in the local area at the same time?

As part of its I Am Katharine House campaign, the hospice is asking supporters to pledge their support to the hospice this year.

Supporters are urged to visit www.khh.org.uk/IamKHH and state what they will be doing for Katharine House in 2024. It costs £12,995 every day to run the hospice and Katharine House relies heavily on the support of its community.

There are so many ways you could support the hospice this year:

  • Take part in an event
  • Volunteer with the hospice
  • Visit a Katharine House shop
  • Open your garden
  • Share your story
  • Make a donation
  • Hold your own fundraiser
  • Join our lottery
  • Become a regular giver

Set yourself a goal this year

Fancy doing something a bit different this year? Determined to get yourself fit for 2024? Why not take on a challenge for Katharine House Hospice?

There are bucket list activities like an 100ft Extreme Abseil off the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world; an adrenaline raising 160ft bungee jump at Bloxham Steam Rally; and an exhilarating skydive through the clouds from 13,000ft!

Or for those looking for a more physically demanding challenge, how about a stunning 25, 50, 75 or 100 mile ride through the Cotswolds as part of Broughton Sportive or join the team cycling from London to Paris for Katharine House?

Other challenges include a hair-raising hike around some of London’s scariest streets and historic haunts, the gruelling Blenheim Triathlon and a 100km walk through the picturesque Cotswold villages.

Spend more time in the garden

Determined to tackle the garden this year? Set yourself a gardening goal then show off your handiwork by taking part in the Katharine House Open Gardens scheme.

The Open Gardens scheme has been a huge success over the years. By opening their gardens to the public, hosts have helped raise thousands of pounds for the hospice. Put those green fingers to good use!

Be part of the hospice’s future

Do something amazing this year that will really make a difference. By setting up a direct debit and giving regularly to the hospice.

Or why not join the Katharine House Hospice Lottery and give yourself the chance to win £1,000 or one or 20 other cash prizes each week?

To find out how you can be ‘Katharine House’ in 2024, visit www.khh.org.uk/IamKHH.
